Bottle Feeding Consult

Bottle feeding consults available for babies who are struggling with leaking milk, choking, gagging, coughing, feeding too fast or slow while feeding. This consult is also appropriate for babies who are refusing the bottle, breastfed babies who need to learn to take a bottle or babies who are struggling to transition between breast and bottle. This consult is available for virual or in office visits. Follow up visits may be necessary depending on baby's progress.

Home Visit Lactation Consult - Prenatal

ALL HOME VISITS must be pre-approved BEFORE purchase and are only available for special circumstances including health issues or multiple births and if time permits in the schedule. Send a message on the contact page to receive approval before booking.    All home visits include a travel fee which is payable on the confirmation page. Travel fees are not reimbursable by your insurance provider.

Home Visit Lactation Consult - New Client

Home Visits MUST be PRE-approved before booking. Use the contact form and send a message requesting a home visit. Home visits are reserved for infants less than 2 weeks of age, C section delivery, special health needs, or twins. Home Visits are only approved if time in the schedule is available.  A travel fee will be applied to all home visits which can be paid on the confirmation page . Travel fees are not reimbursable by your insurance.

Prenatal Lactation Consult - in Office

This lactation consultation is for expecting parents who want to get a jump start on breastfeeding. This is a visit in the Flourish and Thrive offices. This visit includes a complete review of your health and pregnancy history, any past breastfeeding experience, review of breastfeeding basics, as well as particular plans related to any health or past challenges. We will also discuss pump use briefly and may include a flange fitting if time permits.

Office Visit Lactation Consult -New Client

This lactation consultation is for a new mom and baby consultation in the Flourish and Thrive Lactation Office. These visits can address any concern you have including milk supply issues (too much or not enough), back to work and pumping questions, baby latching concerns, breast health or pain concerns, baby weight gain issues, tongue tie evaluation, bottle feeding difficulties, combo feeding, pumping and flange fitting, solid food and weaning and more. These visits are 90 minutes in length and have the benefit  of  utilizing my expertise, as well as utilizing my various tools, pump supplies, flanges, bottles and various other teaching and demonstration models in my office in Cumming, Ga.

 Virtual Lactation Consults can be made for any breastfeeding concerns including milk supply issues (too much or not enough), back to work and pumping questions, baby latching concerns, breast health or pain concerns, baby weight gain issues, tongue tie evaluation, bottle feeding difficulties, combo feeding, pumping and flange fitting, solid food and weaning and more.  Virtual visits may require a little bit of work on your part to send videos and pictures but anything that can be done in an in person visit can be accomplished virtually with the right expertise, cooperation and tools.  We may determine during the visit that followup visits are necessary or that an in person visit could be helpful.
