Want to Know What Is Making My Home Safer, Cleaner, Greener and Cheaper? (and making my life easier too!)

Can Shopping Cleaner and Greener Actually Be Safer and Affordable?

That was what I wondered. I didn't  think that there was an alternative to bleach and Lysol that would actually protect us from deadly germs. And I believed that all of the non toxic "cleaner" products were cost prohibitive for the every day shopper. I wasn't even sure that "non toxic"  was even necessary.

But, then I read the Lung Study published in a leading medical journal that showed using the national household cleaning products just once a week had the same effects on our health as smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. I was convinced that we needed better protection.

But, a lot of those alternatives people were using were not actually safe. And very expensive.

Then I did my research on Melaleuca and found that they actually have EPA registered disinfectants. And at a much better price than even those every day household products. So I could protect my family and save money.

Here's the whole deal in a nutshell.

βœ…$19 membership fee (an entire YEAR's membership.)

πŸ’₯Much less expensive than shopping clubs like Amazon Prime, Costco Sam's

βœ…$100 in free product credit to spend over the next 5 months (to unlock you simply watch short product videos.)

βœ… 15% back on every purchase after you've spent your initial $100 in free product credit.

βœ…Access to the marketplace to shop at 670 national retailers online to earn MORE product credit-- up to 30%!

(Old Navy, Target, Home Depot, Best Buy, Macy's, Kohl's, etc...)

βœ…As a preferred customer you get all of these perks, and Mela asks that you purchase 35 points of product each month.

βœ…35 points equals $50-$70 per month, but this isn't extra stuff you don't want or need - you are buying all the things you're buying anyway.

You simply switch stores and shop from Mela first.

βœ…100% money back, empty bottle guarantee on all products.

βœ…No contract. Its month to month. If there's ever a month you don't wish to shop or receive a back up order, you can cancel (super simple, no fee or penalty.)

It's a really laid back company and membership.

All I need is your cell phone and email. I'll get a link created for you.

When you join to shop with Melaleuca that is the enrollment. Right now the enrollment is $19 for the year.

When you place your first order that enrollment fee is charged and you have preferred member status. Then you get ALL the deals which is where the cheaper part of your cleaner, greener, safer, cheaper - and they deliver to your door - The convenient time savings part!

Everything is just like shopping at Amazon - I even got my products less than 24 hours after I ordered them!

And you have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and you can cancel your membership any time you want.

A regular customer shops for the products at the regular price. You can order whenever you want to - no monthly obligation. But you only get the discounts and bonuses if you are a PREFERRED member.

A preferred member gets the 30% + discounts and shopping dollars, you can refer others to Melaleuca and receive perks for that such as shopping dollars and REAL dollars. WIth the preferred membership you need to purchase 35 product points per month ( I go over everytime and have to limit myself. )

I had that thought too.  With the ability to cancel at any time and a 100% satisfaction guarantee, what did I have to lose?

Then I was so completely impressed with all of the non toxic household cleaners and the European quality makeup that I bought, at such low prices, I was completely sold. I have not bought anything that was not on my list to purchase anyway. I haven't even splurged yet. Just replacing what I am using for better options that are delivered to me.

If you want to see if you would get the benefit of this shopping club, take this quiz to see how many products you would use.

(The nutritional shake i was drinking every day was over $100/month - but I just got a BOGO for $22 - in caramel brulee flavor no less!!)

And the beauty catalog has pages marked up like a kid with the Christmas catalog! The serum I bought was $22! And I saw a difference in the first day of use. Natural beauty products that don't break the bank? Yes Please!!

And I replaced mine and Carson's bath products (yes Men's products too).

I can't wait to get my dad to try these proven vitamin supplements for his heart and brain health.

Spending 35 points is NOT a problem!

AND you can get up to 100 extra points to shop for the extra things on your list just by watching some videos about the products - which I wanted to do because I need to know what i am getting, And after you spend those, you get 15% back on every purchase in points to use.

Maybe you are worried that you won't want to spend 35 points each month.

How much is 35 points anyway?

Check out these 35 point examples  of things you can use your points on. I think you will see that there are so many things that your family is using every month that you will be able to use your points on. All without a trip to Home Depot or Target.

Oh wow! It just keeps getting better. The marketplace has over 600 retail partners in it - including your favorites like Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Kohl's, Best Buy, Saks Fifth Avenue...

When you go through the marketplace to your favorite store and make your purchase you will get up to 30% of the amount you spend BACK in loyalty spending dollars. That pretty much justifies shopping doesn't it? This is worth the membership alone. Why not get money back for things you are already buying?

Frequently Asked Questions

Hey, that is a good question and I was pleasantly surprised to read the facts on how many, many years ago Frank VanderSloot chose to create a different business model centered on the core philosophy of - "

Enhancing the Lives of Those We Touch by Helping People Reach Their Goals

But, the way he did it was by producing and manufacturing their products as demand for them occurred in their own warehouses and facilities.

Then using word of mouth advertising from happy customers, Melaleuca has keep all of the middle men out of it and they pass those savings on to their customers.

People think we're MLM, but we're not. We don't meet the Federal Consumer Commission's (FCC) criteria.

βœ… no investment
βœ… no distributors
βœ… no inventory
βœ… we create, patent, and ship 99% all of the products.
βœ… no minimum requirements to make a paycheck

We're different. πŸ˜‰

You can just shop with Melaleuca and be very happy. But, if you absolutely fall in love with the products - like I did - you may want to tell your friends about it - like I am!

That is basically referring people to Melaleuca. The only difference is you can get paid to do that!

This is NOT an MLM! I am not a big fan.You don't carry any inventory, sell anything, order or deliver.

All you have to do is request a referral link for your friend- because people cannot shop with Melaleuca without someone introducing them-  and giving them a link.

This is how it worked for me:

  • My friend Tamsen met Jen at a work event and Jen told Tamsen about her shopping club. Tamsen was excited to hear about a hand cream that would stop her child's dry hands from bleeding and she requested a shopping link.

  • Tamsen bought a starter kit of products and de - toxed her home. She was completely sold on the products.
  • Tamsen told me about them because she knew that I get asked questions from moms all the time about safer products for their home.

  • I requested the link. Did lots of research about the products. Contacted Jen and asked more questions. Read the studies about safety, and was quite impressed. I placed a starter kit order of household cleaners and fell in love with everything I received.

  • I requested a referral link so I could tell others

That is how it works. Easy peasy!

I planned on shopping as a customer but how could I not share something that will help others?

The only difference is when you tell a friend and they ask for the link too, Melaleuca pays you for the referral (instead of the high price of marketing) That is a no brainer. Maybe it would be enough to pay for your orders - or maybe like Jen, you replace your income. And your friends thank you.

Two things convinced me to give this a try.

The Lung Study and the EPA.

I hear moms talk all the time about how they don't want to use harsh chemicals in their homes. But then I hear them say what they are using - vinegar, various essential oils recommended by their friends or a sales consultant, etc. I have to tell them that while these may clean the dirt off of their counters or smell good, they are not necessarily protecting their children from illness. They need a disinfectant.

So when I saw that these were non toxic cleaners, I had to find out if they actually worked. I did my research and found that their disinfectant is really registered as an EPA registered disinfectant. I read about the products and the ingredients and was convinced that not only are the products non toxic they actually can stand behind their claims.

I was impressed by the fact that they believe in science too and that they have one of, if not the only study that proves that their vitamins work. (I have never been a vitamin and supplement fan either because of lack of data)

The second thing that sold me was the Lung Study.

So what is the Lung Study?

This is an amazing study that was created by an independent organization in Europe - check out an article about it here. (not affiliated with Melaleuca in any way.)

Basic Info:

They followed 6,200+ participants over a 20 year span. These participants lived in several different countries. Both men and women. Average age was 32. They checked in with each participant several times over the 20 year study and quizzed them about what cleaners they were using, how often they used them, and then checked their lung capacity.

They also separated participants into two sub categories: those that cleaned their homes only and those that cleaned as part of their occupation.

The Results:

Weekly exposure to cleaning products was found to be just as damaging to the lungs as those that smoke a pack of cigarettes a day for 20 years! (read that again)
Women were more affected than men, possibly because they are generally more exposed to household cleaning products.

Liquid cleaners were found to be just as harmful as spray cleaners.

There was NO difference between the general population that cleaned their homes regularly and those that cleaned for a living-- both suffered the same lung damage.

Primary suspected culprits: chlorine bleach, ammonia, quartenary disinfecting compounds.

Woman who cleaned their homes weekly were found to have a higher rate of asthma.

The lung damage is most likely cumulative with the potential to lead to chronic airway obstruction.

Ok. So I have seen the damage smoking can cause up close and personal in my own family. My dad almost died this year after open heart surgery that was in part as a result of years of smoking.

I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. I don't want to have those same health risks from CLEANING MY HOME! As it is, I was having to use my inhaler when I clean now!

So, this convinced me that it really was important to get rid of the chlorox and other traditional cleaners.

Just switch the way you shop.

Tamsen Horton, my business bestie, is the Melaleuca customer that shared her excitement for non toxic cleaning products with me.This was exactly the right time for me. I hope that this is the right time for you :) Send me a message that you're interested before the timer runs out and you'll be entered into the drawing for $100.00 USD (that is cash money!)
